hi
my parents immigration is in process in New Delhi. They were asked for medicals in oct 2005 which my parents subsequently did the medicals. My mothers X ray was having some problems as my mother had a TB attack 25 yrs b ack.She was asked to do another Xray on 18 th of January 2006 which she did.
my questions are( ofcourse she recoverd well at that time and she is not on any medication)
how many times CIC will ask her to do Xray as she doesnt live near delhi and delhi is the closest place where she can have these tests
CIC requsted their pass ports in OCT 2005 is there any way we can get a visitor visa for them as I have not seen my parents for 6 yrs now
thanks in advance to all CDs
As far as I know, there is no specific 'number' of times the CIC can request for medicals. It is until thier medical team is satisified, they can keep reviewing. But by practise, it should not be more than 2 times as it increases thier work load too. After the 2nd test, depending on thier medical teams opinion they will either refuse or issue the required Visa.
However, in your speicific case, I strongly believe there is no need for concern as the medical condition was corrected long ago. Keep your fingers crossed and I am sure you will have them over this summer.
Best luck.
Hiren.

A spot in X-Ray pertaining to old TB lesion is common in India.
Second X-ray is just to confirm that it is a stable case, which means that lesion is not progressing. Normally that should be the end of the medical test.
Hi , I applied for PR from middle east in sept-2004 . I am waiting for out come . For my wife - She suffers from seviour pneumonia 10 years back. Now there is small white spot in her chest x-ray . Her medical examination for qatar visa failed . Any how I managed to get clerance . My question is -----will this x-ray report affect her immigration to canada?? . Doctors in India told that this white spot will remain for ever but there is no harm with her health & she is completely alright . Let me know that this type of x-ray report cause for visa rejection in canada ??
Thanks in advance
