Filing tax return from India

I have to file for taxes, from India as we have moved back. Is there a way to file for taxes such as CRA on line filing, etc?

This is not your FIRST tax return and hence they have all the information that they need from you. You can choose any FREE tax software that is available on the net and file your return with it and do it electronically.

IF THIS IS YOUR LAST TAX RETURN, then, you should ALSO file it on PAPER and submit it by Registered Post too.

To make it into a LAST RETURN with CRA, you must file papers with CRA to see if you are a NON-RESIDENT. Please see the LINK..... There is a procedure to follow.

Thanks FH. No it will not be the last one. I will have do it every year. All this time I used a CA in Canada. Does CRA has any free software to file online?

MKBLR,
Since I got a Non resident status for tax filing for Canada, I filed only once after coming here and it was a paper copy.
I had to pay money to the CRA and my cousin was supposed to receive a refund.
The CRA promptly sent me notice to pay the money whereas for my cousin, no mail / cheque came.

You may want to contact your CA in Canada to file the taxes for you from India.
