We expected Modi to give 100 for no loss in the first ten overs. But it is now 50 for 5 in 10 overs. People will not hesitate to bring back the same UPA robber band since BJP seem to be another.

I have been in India since he took over.
In the last one year, I have not heard of any scam that took place with Modi. People are blaming him for not passing many bills in the parliment but that is because BJP does not have the numbers in the RS.

He has visited 18 countries so far and brought in lots of investments.
He has given everyone a bank account and subsidy is being transfereed.
Just yest. I booked a Gas cylinder. I got a subsiy of Rs 191 credited to my bank account today.
He has introduced accident and life insurance for all bank account holders for a small fee.

Still not sure if people will vote UPA but Modi is working hard. he has said that he has not taken even one day leave in the past 1 year and that he works on sunday's too.

yeah. progress might be slow, but I am not sure if progress was more in UPA.

BJP may have to please the farmers (remember that it was they who brought UPA back into power 11 years back owning to BJP's neglect of farmers).

What I sense is that if UPA took 50% commission (say like in Coal Scam, 2G etc..), may be Modi Govt. is taking 10% commission but giving it to the righful lowest tenderer (just a figure of speech).

Stock market has now corrected to 10% down from the peak (denoting a correction). Due to the fear of a bad monsson and high interest rates and MAT, Foreign investors are shifting to HK and China where he stock market is 7% up and bound to roll . India is 10% down and is the major loser this year, as on date.

All points mentioned in favour of Modi's one year rule will make sense only and only if it makes a direct and positive impact to the common man.

If Modi really wants to do good to the people of the country, the last thing that should have happened was his capitulation to the greed of the rich. Unfortunately, this capitulation was the first wrong that has happened.

There was no reason for a bilateral cricket series with Pak, they having taken no action on Mumbai terror, harbouring terrorists like Hafiz, Lakhvi etc and creating terror in Kashmir on a daily basis.

After this IPL will be over, to cater to the betting fever and gambling addiction of the filthy rich, the BCCI and PCB intend to play Test, ODI and T20 series and that too in UAE. Isn't there any value for the blood let out by common man and our brave soldiers. All the betting money would only be ploughed back for more terrorism.

Now BJP shamelessly is telling the nation that they are for resumption of this bilateral ties.

Touted as the first signature by Modi as PM, he brought in Commission on black money and wealth stashed abroad. Nothing has moved on that front, while countries like UK, Germany and USA have made agreements with the tax haven countries and recovered valuable money.

Our RBI Governor is concerned about bad loans gulped by the rich which now run to as much as 4 lac crores. Our rulers have not made any progress on that too.

Having done precious little on the above, but when it comes to increasing fuel prices BJP is only catering to the wishes of those who financed Modi's campaign. They have literally celebrated their 1st anniversary by doing a double of petrol price increase by 10Rs. Petrol was selling at above 60Rs. from 2011 when the crude oil prices were 100$ per barrel. Now in 2015, the price of petrol is almost 70Rs., when the barrel rate has fallen to around 60$.

All the money that is pouring into the coffers because of the 420 in fuel prices has not given any perceptible improvement in the life of common man. Even the so called LPG subsidy, the filthy rich are angrily staring at Modi. And Modi apologetic and to appease this minuscule segment is asking the middle class to forego. But Modi is not questioning the rich about their bad loans, black money or their vulgar foray into gambling millions of US$ at sports events.

There is no correlation between the so called GDP growth 7, 8 or 9% and improvement in quality of life of common man, which is forever going down whether it is UPA or BJP. Or inking several MoUs and claiming media headlines "21 MoUs bring 22 Billion USD".

In the 90s and early 2000s there were this computer education ads. which would say "C, C++ and Java, Rs.20,000" and "Oracle and SQL, Rs.15,000"
There is no difference between these and the MoU claims of Modi.

The common man for the above reasons is not very interested in hard work, as it means nothing to his life. And Modi is only flogging them with more increase in fuel prices and increased cost of living.

One cannot repair decades of misrule within a span of one year. Takes time, IMO he's on the right track. Amul baby is trying to distract Modi, fearing BIL's shady land deals would come out. Bullet trains, taking away those archaic laws, building bridges with other countries, etc are some of the things. Others also need to pitch in.
