I have used this promo for almost an year, whatever price you see while booking online based on the car size, that is the price they are going to charge.

When you go to get the car ask if you can extend it by 1 day or two. what will be there rate in that scenario.

It's a general practice to do a visual check before you take the car.

The only catch is 200 km/day limit with which you can't go outstation.

they have 9.99/day for 3 days(weekend) - limited to 200km per day.. i.e 600 for 3 days.

I see Bankruptcy of Discount cars in the near future !!!

One Cost based decision you need to take is whether to take collision damage waiver (CDW) or not. Cost per day is almost same as rental per day. So you may double your cost by choosing for this protection. there are pros and cons, It depends , if you want to take the risk or your personal insurance covers it or at times your credit card is able to cover it.

Please avoid paying for collision damage ..Most credit cards cover for that .

Enterprise also had weekend deals for $9.99 / day subject to 100 kms per day....not sure if they still have it.

Enterprise (not sure about others) would provide a free pick up / drop off with in a reasonable distance.
