GC waiting period is dependent on country of birth and not country of citizenship. Waiting list for people born in India is quite long via H1B route.

Food Franchise won't work here as they would have a high fixed cost and low manpower to capital ratio.

The same goes for motel and property businesses also .... low manpower generated to capital ratio.

Looking for something where investment stuck is less and manpower generation high .. for eg cleaning service ...... Yes franchise for Molly Maids may count in .

If anyone interested, let me know i can help , We have some businesses approved for EB-5 in Chicago Area (dedicated to high employment zone)

Its not easy as people think , you need to have good settle business with proper network ...

lot of scam also happen so US govt is very strict ...

let me give u little details here: Investor will invest in property ( not just business) - money will be deposited in US bank account , your money will be secure against property two years commitment needed for investment - after two years you decided to continue investing in same property or you take your money back and invest else where ( full amount will be refund after two years - of course by minus some cost )

this is general details... if anyone wants it we can meet and discuss in person

Thanks for your input but I am slightly cautious against going the RC (Regional Center) route under which multiple investors syndicate their money with a single entity (RC) who utilizes them towards some infrastructure development (hospital / hotel) and charge $40K on top of the investment as consulting / managing fee.

Risks are :
There are dime a dozen RCs sprouted and a lot of scams .
You are handing over your capital to some one else and have no control over its usage .
Forget the interest , there's no guarantee of when you will get your principal back ( could be 5 years , could be more)

However since the above Project is known to you and is largely property investment related , can you please share how the employee generation is planned ...

Also did you mean area of high ' employment or unemployment ' ... in which cases there's a difference of .5 mil :)

Yes, there are lot of scam unless you know a team or organization personally its hard to trust.

- I worked with this team ( in fact i have some investment with them - i'm part of it)

How it works :
U invest on commercial property ( as sharing partner) - U check property value and invest against it ( if u feel secure with value)

those are big commercial properties ( let's say around 80k to 150k sq ft ) - We have setup with huge IT company in India - they will rent a one or two floor for their North American support and development - We hire people from local places


Now what is our benefits : We get investment to move forward to invest in other business or property

What is investors benefits : Since company is strong and can meet all the requirement , especially employment creation - its lot easier for them to get green card and they get back their initial amount after 24 months - so they get green card for free

What is our risk: person who invested can give us trouble by not willing to take our their share as decided ( remind you - we do not need partner but we need investors with cheap money - ) - US market is strong property value goes high and investor can become greedy ( there will be mutual contract sign but still it can create trouble)

What is investor risk: if war or unfortunate things happen and value goes down dramatically they will lose investment ( but at least they will get Green card)


EB-5 : is mainly concentrate on employment creation - so if you deal with organization who is guaranteed to create employment you are safe.

NOTE: That's max info i can share , rest if anyone interested we will set up meeting and discuss in person - meeting can be arrange in Niagara Falls or Chicago
