Its almost going to be a year and i have not heard anything , and i mean nothing from citizenship immigration. I am so perplexed as to what could be causing the delay. I know that the file was transferred to local office at the beginning of the year, but nothing from them so far....what are they doing with it? I know people people who applied way after me and have gotten thier citizenship months ago...why is there such discrepancy ?

If it is over 12 months, you can ask for update by postal inquiry or by phone.
