few more questions for you though,

1} if my wife goes to India without getting her canadian citizenship now, let's say after 2 years she wants to come back to Canada, how can she return? then she doesn't have canadian visa, or she can enter Canada as canadian citizen spouse? but how?

2} canadian passport has 5 years validity, if after 5 yrs I don't want to re-apply for my canadian passport, can I get my Indian citizenship back ( by birth)?

3} if I want to buy a property (not agricultural , just residential flat etc.) back in India as a canadian citizen, what are the limitations vis-a-vis if I were a Indian citizen?
