This morning on the radio heard about the horrific terror attacks in Brussels termed as coordinated suicide bomb attacks in the Airport as well as the subway ..Experts state that it had unmistakable signs of an IS attack.
When will this madness end and what will it take to end it ?
We are major as well as splinter terror attacks spawning around the world and they do originate from a hardline Islamic mind set ... No qs about that..
You had a woman in Russia standing with a severed head of a child she was care taking stating that 'Allah asked her to do it ' and then you had the asshole in North York last week again stating that 'Allah asked to carry out this wish'
Not to forget the San Berdino attacks and the Paris attacks ..... so many innocent lives going about their daily business - so many families destroyed ......... why because some people feel that their ideologies are superior to the others and want to commandeer their ideologies over others . What the hell !!!
When will this Islamic madness end AND more importantly a q comes up on my mind :
A person who has been brought up in a free society in the West which values freedom of thought and is not patriarchal and has no contact with fundamentalism physically get incited enough to resort to this mindless violence ??
How is that psychology nurtured and what is the commonality in the learning that resort to such extreme actions as taking their own lives as well as that of others ??
How are people in far away countries and societies be charged so much remotely so as to incur such actions ?

You hit the nail upon its head. It is a subject matter that has been on the top of our list all along and no one had the presence of mind to get it out to the public forum. That does not mean we have an answer to the question.
I have been lulled to sleep by saying we have a few controls here in Canada and most of it has been not only thrown out it has been erased out of our data base AFTER SPENDING BILLIONS ON IT. So, I do not have an answer to it when I try to bring it to the surface. So, you know that we all are exposed so badly, I feel I have been stripped naked and do not sense any of the controls that existed before. So, I do not know where it is that I stand. ( Except to quote: Like the drunk said to the Lamp Post " United we stand and Together we fall".)
Currently when you can purchase a SIX Pack of Box Cutters for a Buck, I will refrain from appearing in any crowded forum or take the public transport, if at all I can avoid it.
Pressure cookers are a plenty and that also keeps me indoors.
Potash mines are also easy to access and they are now getting used to grow Mushrooms in a few Provinces and so we are unable to restrict the use there too.
I can keep on harping on all of the subject matters exposing the vulnerability that we all are placed into and when I hear a Presidential Candidate who keeps harping on the same chord I will STOP all the Muslims and the Illegals from Entering the USA, and build a huge wall and make them pay for it, I will lend him my ears to hear more of what he will do to stop all of this nonsense that we keep hearing daily. Just as you are fearing, what are we all doing here in Canada welcoming 25,000 new Refugees, at our expense and will have a total of 60,000 or more by the end of this year at a vast expense and the rest of the new IMMIGRANTS screaming, how come we all are getting a very low priority and getting neglected and find NO JOBS anywhere to support us with. My heart goes out to these REAL IMMIGRANTS and I say to myself let the Government look after those who they have brought in or the sponsors take care of these free entrants.
You may be right in your views when you quote it is their religion that has made these devil incarnates who are creating havoc in all of these cities where from the news items emanating from and find that there is a lack of analysis of available Intelligence from the cities that we see the headlines and by the look of things it has now become a daily affair and we are becoming numb to these occurrences, because a vast span of water, an ocean separates us from where it comes from daily.
Are we now getting groomed to face the reality by the politicians? Is it that they are preparing all of us to live with a new element of Calculated Risk in our day to day life OR they know their population a lot better and with their bringing in of a set of Refugees, these new arrivals, immunizing all of us in preparation for the worse things to come? Or, DO they know some thing that we all don't know and let us all find out for ourselves that our worst fears are all our own selves and "Fearing the Fear itself and finding none there" Is the way of the future and a small dose of it if it ever presents to us here, expunge and eradicate it with the acute analysis of the Intelligence data that we gather in this enclave and develop the technology and provide it to the others in their curbing it at various other parts of the world!
So, what do we know, is the first question. I can only provide you with an educated guess. But it surely needs more study into it. I am sure everyone will have their own views to express. So, I will let the thread build its own momentum and I will get back to it after I form my own views. You will find it a lot different from the others.

Despite Canada's claimed diligence in vetting thousands of refugees, it is likely there is or will be some level of infiltration of radicalism, which then in a few years might show itself up in the form of an event inside Canada. I hope I am wrong.
In the meantime, I wouldn't be surprised if US imposes visa requirements for Canadians, especially, if hawkish republicans win the election. There's already been election campaign rhetoric about Canada allowing thousands of refugees in. Once again, I hope I am wrong.
Time will tell on both.

The points that have confounded me are : ( and I speak specifically for Islamic terrorism since that is the most major peace destroying thing )
a. How does a person who was not born in that religion , converted to it , become so extremely radicalized so as to suicide bomb themselves and people around them.
b. It is understandable that people who are brought up in those societies would tend to develop the ideologies BUT how come some one who is born in a far off place like Canada , USA , UK develop the same extremist ideologies remotely... Don't they see people around themselves and get affected by their daily life ?
c. How can we stop this from increasing ... pre emptive monitoring is very difficult and expensive ...
d. Lastly and I know we have touched upon it before also - What is it in Islam that so many groups , people in absolutely different parts of the world get affected so similarly and resort to mindless violence ?
Not all Muslims are bad or are terrorists - but my q is - Why 95% of the terrorists are Muslims - What is it in Islam that prompts such violence where people forsake their own lives and those of the innocent others .

Most of the migrants came from former colonies with linguistic affinity and were absorbed in low end jobs which were acceptable for that generation in search for better lives. They spawned the next generations who are better educated but unwilling to follow in their footsteps.
Of different colour and ethnicity but born and brought up in the Euro environment the lack of social integration of the second and third generations hurts especially when they are unable to find better jobs.
