Hi,
I tried searching at CIC site but didn't really found the info.
I was wondering , what is the procedure and requirements, if a couple (over 60)wants to live their retired life in Canada, what sort of funds need to be shown in this regards.
If someone can send me the link aswell that would be appreciated.
Thanks
In the old days, there used to be a "retire in Canada scheme", not anymore. However, the provinces would welcome investment if the retirees have business experience and willing to 'manage' the new business for a while [you can call it semi-retirement]

Hi Massood,
Thanks for the reply,
could you give me some idea what kind of investment on an average are we looking at,
and suppose, a couple buys 2-3 houses and rent them, will this be considered an investment or does it have to be a pure business investment.
How about saving the money in a fixed deposit or something similar.
Please guide according to the rules in BC.
Thank you
Can you please email me? I'll send you the details.
