Hi Mr.Massood,
I am a doctor living in India and have applied for PR visa for Canada through Paris office in April 2002 in skilled worker category and got my file no. in May 2002.
After this there is no news and whenever I write to Paris office they tell that your file is in process.I would be obliged if you could tell me how long will it take?
I have given IELTS with a score of 7,8,7,8 and also filled in the new forms.

Paris processing time is usually much better than most but your case falls under what is called 'offshore'. Offshore applications sometime take slightly longer because of various checks back & forth between Paris and New Delhi.

You should be in the final stretch somewhere around early 2005. I cannot be any more precise than this. Bon courage.
