Hi Mr. Massood,
I have applied under skilled worker category in the mid 2002 and received the file number in the month of August. E-case is showing IN PROCESS from the day one. Last year I have requested the status through fax and I was advised to write the IELTS. I took the same and surrendered the original IELTS mark list in the month of April 2004. I secured 6.00 overall band score. I didn’t get any acknowledgement for the same from CHC – New Delhi.
Few months’ back Asian Tsunami has affected me while doing physical exercise in the Marina beach (I am residing in the coastal area of Chennai (Tamil Nadu, India). I sent a letter in this regard to CHC – New Delhi Stating that I am victim of Tsunami and along with the Civil Surgeon’s certificate who treated me. My dad’s cousin wanted to help me by this time he is a Canadian citizen too. I mentioned all these in the letter. But I didn’t get any feedback from CHC.
I processing time is crossing more than 32 months by end of this March 2005. What would be the maximum processing time for all Indians? Will they consider me (Tsunami victim) under special category?
Kindly let me know what should I do in this case.
Thanks in advance.
