He was our Legendary Hero, the Man of Steel, who inspired all of us. Even now, when I watch The Superman Movies, I feel inspired by his dedication and integrity to the welfare of "Planet Earth".

Reeve was left almost completely paralysed by a horse-riding accident in 1995, which turned him into a passionate advocate of spinal cord research.

Christopher Reeve was a Superman before and after the accident. An example to us all.
