Friends,

I have finally got my passport stamped and plan to land to Canada this week. I plan to go to Canada and come back to the US in a week. As you must be aware from my initial posts, I have a valid H1 (valid until July 2005), however my visa stamped on my passort has expired.

Appreciate your advice on the following:
1. I live in Chicago and can either drive to Detroit or Buffalo.
Has anyone with expiered visa stamp used the Automatic Revalidation rule and
crossed the Detriot border recently?

2. Also do the POE officers (Canada) have questions if you have a two way rental. My concern is that I might be questioned by US POE officers on my way back if I have a rental car registered in Canada.

3. Any tips and suggestions from people who have recently used the Automatic Revalidation from any posts is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Cimmigrant,
I understand that you have crossed the border and have come back to the US.
Can you tell me, whether you came back using the 30 day ARV rule or did you apply for revalidation.

Your actual experience will be useful.
Hope:)
