We love Punjabi food from A1 sweets, it is not right in scarborough though.
chilli paneer & roti in Rasoi,
best Indo-chinese food in Federick's,
On Lawrence there is 'Ajmir food'- biryani & wings
Kennedy & sheppard corner - 'Pakwanchi' - Best biryani & spicy chicken
Karhahi palace on lawrence - naan & butter chicken

Wok with Yu is ok too! So there are a couple...

I find that as a whole, there's sh+tloads of restaurants in TO, but not too many good ones.... I mean, HOST is OK for their buffet and at least they have relatively clean washrooms!! Other than that...hmm.... not too much out there!

Recently tried Jaipur and it was alrite...

Try embassy at middlefield and finch avenue east...the food is decent, the ambience is OK and the prices are...

For good chinese (indian style) try china cottage - recommended to me by chandresh and since then I m hooked onto that place - thanks chandresh...it is located on the northwest corner of pharmacy / ellesmere. - there is a 10% discount for cash payment on takeouts.

BTW for all CD's, any good restuarants around Don Mills-Eglington area? Closer to Toronto than in Scarborough, since i stay in East York.

There is one behind the food basics..in the same plaza (1 block south of the Ontario science center on east side of Don mills road) run by middle east folks, but the food is good. It is open till 11 pm a rare in canada. While in india we are used to start looking for restaurants at 11 pm..

try Chauhan's... it is not in scarborough..but in markham.. on the intersection of Woodbine and Denison.... very good food.. but the last time I went about 3 weeks ago..the prices have gone up..

as far as food is concerned, it is one of the very good restaurant's where I have eaten..
