What are the visa requirements for someone with a Canadian PR to work in the USA ? Is it as complicated as the H1B visa or is it simpler. Any input or pointers in this regard will be highly appreciated

Canadian PR = Indian(or any country) Citizen, so it does not make any difference in terms of requirements. You might get H1 Visa quickly, but the process (INS etc.) should be same.
