The 70s heroine, who along with Zeenat Aman, change the definition of traditional heroine, passed away at her residence in Bombay. I think she hailed from some royal family of Junagadh
She will be remembered for her pairing with Amitabh in movies like Amar Akbar Anthony or Deewar (I am falling in love with a stranger!!!)
My favourte scene featuring Parveen babi is one with Amitabh in "Suhaag", where Amitabh drives Parveen Babi crazy with dialogues starting from "Agar" and "Magar". Just one more proof of Amitabh's acting skills
May God bless her soul

Yeah.. she was from a Royal family, but she started accusing Mr.Bachhan in her later years. I still love those days when I used to enjoy their movies together.
It is ironic that a heroine with millions of fans died such a pitiful death. She had been dead for 2-3 days in a flat and no body came to know about it. She had distanced herself from the society at large and lived a very isolated life in her last few years. She was a diabetic and had become very weak and wheel-chair ridden in the end.
Her most memorable roles:
Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Kala Patthar, Suhaag, Kaalia, Namak Halaal, Khuddar, Rang Birangi, Shaan.
May her sould rest in peace!
One of sweet and pretty actresses. May her soul rest in peace
