2001 IMMIGRATION CASES FILED AT CHC
Mr.Massood,
I would again like to request you for your opinion regarding my case
that when I can anticipate the request for interview/medicals from CHC.
Your previous advise - ''to apply and forget it'' was really disheartening.
The last communication from CHC-Delhi was in November2004- they
wanted me to send the original IELTS result which I had already submitted to CHC in August2002.
British council refused to give me another copy of IELTS result but
agreed to send it directly to CHC -only if they are contacted directly.
Today , I checked with my agent through whom I applied and was
informed that CHC Delhi contacted British Council directly and have
received my IELTS Result from them.
Thanks for your valuable time.
Poonam
YOUR EARLIER REPLY ON 15.01.2004
Hard to comment on processing time these days. The advice I give to our clients worldwide is 'APPLY AND FORGET ABOUT IT'.

MY QUESTION TO YOU ON 15.01.2004 WAS -
REQUEST FOR INFOR.
TO : Mr.Masood
Sir,
I applied for P.R. under independent category during first week of August2001 at Delhi Canadian High Commission.
I received the receipt containing file no. during last week of September2001.
I submitted IELTS Score - 7 Band during August2002.
I received a correspondence from CHC to fill IRPA forms during last week of February2003.I submitted the same with all the documents on 3April2003.
I qualify under both old and new rules.
I would like to request to you for your opinion in my case - how much time it will take for decision-making , medical and visa.
Thanking you,
Poonam
These days, I don't even like guessing time frame for people whose applications we have not worked on.
