However, without solid background in that industry and contact there, it can be tough, especially for general IT folks.
The general software consulting market there is pretty static and cold.

MY PERSONAL VIEWS AND EXPERIENCE
If I can go back and change something I would change the initial place of landing . I landed in malton surrounded by most of the labour class people. It was quite frustating b'cos these certain kinds dont think over and beyond and passes you the same . In my opinion one should chose the surrounding community very wisely . Toronto ( Scarborough ) is a good option with everyting available and better carrer opportunities . Moreover all schools are not far if you wanna persue further studies ...
