Hello Friends,
Just wondering if there are any kind of IT jobs, which could be done from home, instead of relocating! Any idea?
Thanks.
Almost any IT job can be worked from home..
I don't think we have to go to work for most of the work.. nowadays my company has been encouraging ppl to work from home .. so that they don't have to lease a bigger office space.

ThinkingOne,
Some of the contract work with the federal govt is one of the options. I know couple of guys in GTA who do that.

ThinkingOne,
I just checked and was told that contractors dont need clearance (agency people do need clearance).
wrt to citizenship, I have no idea. The individuals I know in GTA are citizens.
Talk to individuals who work for the govt (both provincial and federal). Also see if you can do some subcontracting for firms who are govt contractors (on a need basis).

That seems to be when u r already working for a company... and then prefer to work from home. Is it so?
If not, what is the best resource to look for such assignments? As normally the job ads (at monster.ca, workopolis.ca etc) needs relocation!
