yea, while searching for such things online, my intention is to look for any free-lancing kind of thing, where the things u mentioned are listed.. and the business is very much taken care of from home... probably in a totally different country too.

There is a website where (1) you can post what type of IT jobs you do, and (2) where companies post jobs on a piecemeal basis. So if someone wants an application to be developed they post it there and you can go in and quote your price. The problem is that there are people from India too who quote and their rates are a lot cheaper than ours. So for the same jobs I've seems a range of $500 to $5000.
