As a child I used to go to Udipi restaurants in B'Bay and have sweet kachoris, the filling is made of fresh coconut and other nuts, but don't know what the kachori (outer shell) is made of. Does anyone have a recipe for this.

We used to call it Petis. I believe its maida.
