Are you Non- Veg.?
If so, Candians love Tandoori Chicken, Kabab and Biriyani. (all with less spice and with more sourness - Lime)
For Vegetarian Items, I would suggest :
Lassi.
If you could make Nice Ghee Roast Dosa with Sambar , Tomato /coconut Chutney, Potato, They would love it. Idly would also be good, if you can make it softly.
You can also take Ladoo, Jangiri, SonPapadi or other Indian snack.
Again you can try String Hoppers (available at Sri Lankan Takeouts 25 nos for $3.50) and nice Cauliflower / potato subji (which you have to make yourself as the SL takeouts give horrible side dishes)
Bought Samosa's are out of fashion these days unless you can make it yourself with soft outer skin nice filling.
All the best and donot forget to update us on what you took and how your office mates enjoyed it.
Peace by TK

Hi Guys,
Our team is having a pot luck the coming wednesday morning and everyone's supposed to bringin any kind of 'baked dessert' . Was wondering if I could get some suggestions as to what to take along? everyone from the team is white. All suggestions and replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton.
How about Apple crumb pie. It tastes really well, easy to cook, winter desert and white folks loves it.

The Deep company makes delicious samosas with spinach and paneer filling. Everyone i have ever served those to loves them. Available at Mr India Grocers (Winston Churchill and Eglington). Just bake them and serve. DELICIOUS.
