I’m no expert in this field but I do remember reading something about a 'microburst' that brought down a jetliner several years ago. I had a hunch (really ) the Toronto crash also was related to something similar and guess what; it was in fact because of a microburst !

All the people in that flight are most Luckiest persons on that Day.

Really it is a miracle. God Blessings are with those people.

All the people on that plane were so so so so lucky..As far as the luggauge and belongings go..am sure Air France will compensate for it..In fact I saw on CItyTv that one of the passengers was given 2000$ right away at the airport so that he can get on with his dialy life..apart from the value of all his lauagaue that he lost.
Incidentally, when I had made a trip to India in last January, my return flight was this same one. AF358.. The moment I heard about this..it send shivers thru my body....
but anyways, as they say "jako rakhe saiya, mar sake na koi"

75 Million in general damages and another 250 million in damages. Class action lawsuit file already.

They are saying it had something to do with the brakes or so . and thats where the fire started from. Had nothing to do with the lightning.
