Unlikely. Especially with the IT sector not as hot as it used to be, most employers look for people with some level of implementation experience.
Sorry to disappoint you. But then again, that is only my opinion.

Microsoft - Which end of the stick do you want today?
How do you fake implementation experience?
The above is a mech engg guy with no experience in IT...
First he would have to learn a little bit of IT...
Difficult in a tight Job market.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

Since when did SAP fall under the exclusive domain of IT? I've seen guys with Computer Science degrees Ho and Hum during SAP training while guys with Mech. and Production Eng. degrees are able to to quicly grasp the subject. SAP is more about Business Processes than IT. The GUI is just a Tool to capture these processes. The only area of SAP requiring any prior knowledge of "IT" is ABAP and Basis and that's why I made it clear in my previous post that if he has DBA or C/S experience, he should attend the training.
As far as faking Implementation experience is concerned, it is a lot easier than you think![]()

Thanks all for detailed reply. What I can understand from all posts that getting a job after doing this type of course is slim to NIL. however, these desi Insitute presents very rosy picture for Jobs etc. I agree with you all that getting actual experience ( or Faking it) will not be easy. Only positive side regarding me is that I had more than 20 yeras experience in OIL & GAS sector which is HOT nowdays. ( crude prices going to new high everyday). However, I am droping the idea of doing this course as I don't want to waste my money & energy.
Any new ideas are welcome.
