Raj Kapoor the maker never opted for Rajesh Roshan.
When Lata stopped singing for Shankar-Jaikishan, his favourite, he switched over to Lakshmikant Pyarelal, the then No. 1 for Bobby.
Later, He used R. D. Burman for 1 film and till his last fim it was Ravindra Jain who rendered music.

RK never used Pancham for his own directorial venture. The only time Pancham gave music for RK productions was Dharam Karam & Biwi-O-Biwi. (God bless Randhir Kapoor).
