Hi

I went for an interview for H1B stamping at Toronto consulate & after a short interview was told that a clearance is required and asked me to call the consulate after a month. I called them after a month and for the past 3 weeks they have been telling me the clearnace has not been received from Washington and each time I am asked to check after a week. I was working in the Gulf for many many years.

Any idea how long this could take??

Can you respond, when you ended up in getting clearence. Do you think that just becoz of working in GULF they put for clearance or because of some other reason.

I am looking for same clearance since 4 weeks, I didnt work in GULF at all.
