i just received a communication from delhi consulate to send my passport, I already paid my landing frees on 27 feb, can someone tell me how long it will take for final stamping.
My interview has been waived.

anywhere from 15 days to 6months, there are people waiting since may 2005 to recieve their passports back......just check out on other websites too....CHC New Delhi is very unpredictable....

Normally your passport should be back within four weeks.

My passport is with CHC since nov 2005. In Jan 06, CHC asked me to submit FBI clearance with in 2 months, which I have sent last week. So when shall I expect visa? Any guesses????????

First half of April is more like it.

The delay for people submtting in the second half of last year was that the quota had run out....or so I heard.

I submitted my passport in mid Jan this year and got it back a month later. Hope that helps.
