Hi Guys
I got an appointment for Visitor Visa for Business/Pleasure at the US Consulate in Toronto.
I received a letter from the Consulate providing me my appointment and general information. In the letter it says, backpaks, bags, large purses are not allowed inside the consulate. But the kind of documentation they asked would require me to carry a bag. what is the means of carrying the documents to the consulate?
I am thinking of the conventional shopping carry bag to carry them. All those guys who appeared for the interview, what did you guys use to carry the documents??
And what are the questions they ask during the interview??
Please let me know.
Thanks in advance
You can carry them in a file folder.
Avoid large bags and bagpacks.
But I noticed that they did not object to smaller bags like ladies purses, etc.
You can of course carry them in a shopping bag, but a file folder looks more professional

I took a bag full of documents no problems. . .
They X-ray everything anyways.
i guess what they mean is not to bring additional stuff.
Thanks Guys for your inputs
i know u already got the inputs, but just thought give mine too
I recently went there for interview, i carried those laptop-case kind of bag(leather) there wasnt much problem, they xray and search you , just like in airport. and then u goto wait , they give u appointment times but it seems they dont really follow them.
i was bit over worried abt visa and things but belive me once u reach there, its much relaxed.. all the best
