Has anyone sold gold jewellery in Canada? Any tips?

I have to dispose off some gold jewellery , about 20-30 grams. It was made in India so I assume it is 22ct.
How does the selling work here? Should I sell it to desi jewellers? Any idea how much can I expect if the 10 gram market rate is lets say $1650.
Will appreciate any hints. thanks.
