My sister would like to immigrate to Canada. She is a very renowned ayurvedic doctor, practicing in Mumbai. But she is not sure of how she can continue her practice after landing here.

Does anyone have an idea of whether ayurvedic doctor can practice in Canada without further studies. If further study is required, then any details about it?

Any help or pointer would be appreciated.

I have never heard of Auyurvedic doctors in Canada. Homeopathy ! yes. but Ayurvedam No!
If she has a sucessful career in Mumbai why immigrate?
OTH, if she wants to immigrate to give her children a better future (so called!), then why bother to enquire?
Just my thoughts. Not done to offend anyone!

Have your sister contact the Ontario Herbalists Association. Here is their website:

They include information about different alternative medicines including Ayerveda.

At the very least they can advise her on certification etc.

Hi

There is lot of money to be made if you are good doc. It depends upon how you market youself. All the goras are making big money by using our Ayurvedic techniques. These goras do some basic course and are into business.

Taking for eg our Yoga. WHO IS MAKING THE MONEY? the Indians no. It is these goras. They know how to Market. We know how to learn.
Next Big thing is the Shriodhara . The Shirodhara auyervedic practice the goras are make big money.

It now yoga , shirodhara is now billion dollar industry. What do the Indians get . Nothing
