btw you are right this is not a war on terror but it is sold as one...just as all other wars were sold to people under one pretex or another.

No war is justifiable in the strictest sense. But someone's right is another's wrong and vice versa.

The Iraq- US war reminds me of the story of 'The Wolf and the Lamb' from the Aesop Fables. A tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny.

Don't get me wrong in the above post. I am not suggesting that Saddam was a lamb (surely he was a tyrant) but was only comparing the military power between the two countries.

considering that its all about assets anyway...one tyrant is being replaced by an another. Sad part is that people always die. Its the human condition.
If india was in a similar position I'm sure we would not hesitate to bully our smaller neighbours. Some say we already do. But, then we would not want to hear about that :)

BTW: Have you thought of the fact that according to Saddams philosophy (demonstrated many times over)...the US is totally right? That self interest/survival is the most important value. At the cost of any/everything else.

I guess, the big boys know what it all comes down to. We smaller guys have the luxury of being able to rush to judgement :)

The 'so called' greatest democracy and champion of human rights learning from one of the biggest despots of our times!

Saddam would be delighted to hear this.

yep, that's what we have all built. Countries= land with physical boundaries set by man that seek to promote their self interests. Democracy or otherwise.

You guys should read George Orwell's "ANIMAL FARM" if you really want to study what politics is.
