Though I agree this thread does not serve any useful purpose in assisting other desi's, I cant help but wonder if you are asking for the thread to be deleted because of the responses you have received.
If you are open and willing to examine your thoughts and attitude and reflect on your beliefs with the assistance of others, then I think its worthwhile to post your thoughts and allow others to comment.

I wish to add that these days the piece of the dress what you are referring is called as Shawl and not Dupatta as per the modern ladies in India and I do not know what our westernized indian ladies are calling?

There is new law in Iran that all women must cover completely otherwise there will be fine. If some people are not comfortable in western world pls apply immigration to Iran or Saudi.
It seems like these type of people never allows their wife and daughter for swimming, hiking, tennis or any sports activity.
