Hi Massood,

I need some clarifications regarding my sponsor application for my wife.

Last month, i got married and presently i am in India.

My wife is still pursing her studies.

We have applied for our marriage certificate.

My question is that her last name and my last name is different.

If i change her last name in the passport, then the last name will differ in her educational certificates.

What name should be used in filling the applications ( last name before marriage or after marrige).

Also, please tell me, what is the total fees to sponsor the wife.

I have seen your replies for couple of questions. There was no answer for that questions, but except comments.

For your kind information, i know the importance of this site and i am the old member of this forum.

I have gone through the concern subject, but i couldn't find my answer in that subject.

A classic case of what moderators are trying to avoid ... starting multiple threads on the same subject and the matter already discussed......


For one , if you are an old member of this site you should know that Massood has not replied in months .

For two , even if you did not find the subject in the sticky thread , you could have still posted it in the same thread so that when responded , all info would have been in one place .....instead of starting multiple same threads which are space wasting .

And I am more than +ve that the sticky thread does contain the answer to your q , if you take the trouble of going through . I at least learnt more about it in there.
