~ Morning rain
friends I was thinking of starting a thread of humor "Raging in college days".....
for refreshing memories and see the types of raging in college....hows the idea.
desi tiger gave me a hint to do this.....
and as far as this thread is concerened, I will say that I support the indepence of women. So it is just their thinking how they want to look like, and I don't want to be more involve in their lives.

Duncan,
Start it yarr! (with the approval of the Moderators). I have a lot to say by my experiences and how i ragged others in REC. Our REC had the mildest ragging in the whole of India. Some colleges were too bad.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Wait till summer when the clothes get smaller and smaller.
Then you will not be able to talk to most women in Canada.

You know you are a desi when ........ You spew forth the virtues of India, but don't want to live there...............You've never had a tanning salon membership
You've referred South Indian ? and then Middle Class .. Do you really need to write this way?
What is wrong with you....
Are you bothered to see once a middle class people becoming affluent....
why do you need to refer this..
Do not generalize again...
Why can't write like "Won't this look good to wear a Dupatta with a nice Salwar to present one better and attractive....What do you Girls think..something like that..
Again, I don't understand your logic about Middle Class...
This forum is used either to bash canada or South Indians or Middle Class or North Indian... Huh...

I have observed that some women (majority south Indians) don’t wear dupatta when they dress in salwar-kameez. I don’t get it and I am baffled. At least put it on one shoulders and cover one side of the chest. Many south indian women, specifically from lower middle class families and who come from smaller cities know only to wear sarees, now wear salwar kameez (nothing wrong) after moving to the wonderland, don’t wear dupatta. Why is this? Even moms with teenage children do so.
Women who are well built look awful when they don’t wear dupatta. When these women come towards me to talk, I have prayed god “please don’t let her say hello to me” and I avoid eye contact. Sorry ladies, I cant see you eye to eye when u don’t wear dupatta. My eyes are going somewhere else. Since I cant make eye contact and dont want to stare at a particular spot(s), I need to look elsewhere and that’s taken as an insult by some women.
Disclaimer (many thanks to TK): This is my observation only. Hope I haven’t hurt any feelings.
