Thanks for starting this thread. Can you please guide on opening a cheap trading account for buying selling, I am new to canadian market and inspite of some efforts on my part still unable to narrow down my strategy on how to actually start trading,
I am looking for a trading account where in there are no fixed exp involved if you are not trading, as I am new I intend to trade very very cautiously, with limited resources.
I also intend to open an RRSP account in which I intend to invest in indian companies listed on NYSE.
Please share your knowledge on this issues.

As suggested by tamilkuravan, try E-trade.
You can also open account with Scotia or RBC bank. They charge a bit more
