I came to Canada in August 2000 on a student visa. I got my immigrant status in October 2004. My question is How long do I have to wait to apply for Citizenship? And will my days living in Canada on student visa will be counted or no ?

Each day you spent in Canada (in legal status either as a student or on work permit before you became Permanent resident of Canada) in the last four years is counted as half day stay in Canada. So if you complete two years of your stay in Canada as PR (from Oct 2004 to Oct 2006), then you should be eligible for applying citizenship (assuming that you stayed in Canada continuously from Oct 2002 to Oct 2004 as a student).
