After realizing that "Fanaa" is directed by Kunal Kohli (who directed a crappy "Hum Tum" and comes from house of Yash Chopra, I have lost the enthusiasm of watching it. I will still watch it since I haven't watched any Hindi movies after RDB.
Anyway, I was watching OMNI news, where they showed Aamir Khan reaffirming his stance on Narmada. While I am totally ignorant of the situation there, one things that need to applauded is the fact, that Aamir Khan gave the entire statement in HINDI (barring few words like school and BJP). This is a far cry from other actors who give their entire interviews in English.
Three Cheers for Aamir for sticking to his roots

Hi Meghal,
Surprisingly "Fanaa" ain't that bad actually! I myself was reluctant to go and watch the movie but was practically towed away by my friends. Anyway, since I did't go with any expectations, I was pretty surprised! Although there are moments where u suddenly get the feeling that "wow this is like a B-grade hollywood movie" but in retrospect I'd say it's still good for the bollywood standards; couple of songs are good and I thought Kajol looked pretty hot, but I guess that won't stir up your pot!!!
It seems like Aamir's living his teen year right now, given his rebellious reactions, ... or it could be part of a mid life crisis he might be going through; all I can say is keep it up good lad!

"Fanaa" seems to me another good one presented by Yash Raj films ... review and opening week sale also seems to be encouraging
