Bad choice of question. It is illegal to ask about married status or personal information to male / female directly or indirectly. Law of Land "Canada"

It would be a better alternative, if OMNI TV gives a warning about mature theme and adult content or offensive language before the movie. You see such warnings all the time while watching Sopranos or South Park or other programmes with mature theme.
Even when I bought Zanjeer on ROD, I got a warning that movie was 14+ only. SO why cant they apply the same tactic on OMNI TV?
Or as a last resort they can do which DD used to do or even CTV does - bleep off or censor the offensive content.

Would be interesting to know how this is illegal. JD, can you provide details of which law this question violates?

I do not have any link for this but, at HRSDC work skills development program it is repeatedly told that asking personal information specific to marital status / age / number of kids / spouse occupation..etc is illegal. So, if individual opts for a legal case can be filed against the person indulging in finding about personal life. You may choose to disagree and keep collecting personal info till you land up in trouble.

I agree, that they should give out a warning about the theme or subject content of the movies. However, they cannot bleep off a dialogue if the whole subject of the movie is not meant for the younger audiences.

Best option. Change the channel or close the TV.
Anyway, I feel that kids and teenagers are exposed to more garbage through TV and other media. So a Hindi movie of 3 hours can do less harm than, say a Jerry Springer or some other talk shows (I forgot the name, but they have silly topics like "My teenage daughters wears outrageous clothes" and blah blah).
"Shakti" comes on TV once a while, Jerry Springer is on TV 5 days a week. Kab tak kis kis se apne aap ko bachaoge?
