One more baritone voice - Suresh Oberoi

Although my personal fav will always remain post-90s Amitabh

Takhaliyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Raj Babbar to an extent.

My personal favourite in this catogary remains Raj Kumar. He had a style and he stayed & lived just because of that. If you take those punch lines away from Raj Kumar then he is cut to less than half (all I remember is Raj Kumar running in Heer Ranja)

Om Prakash

Kanhaiyalal (usually plays 'baniya' in 50s to 70s movies and a famous role in Mother India - Ganga mere paas aaja tujhe aata doonga, chawal doonga, aur genhu bhi doonga)

Balraj Sahni
Sohrab Modi
Prithviraj Kapoor
Raja Murad
Amitabh Bacchan
Ajeet (Michael, isey liquid oxygen mein daal do liquid isey jeeney nahin dega aur oxygen marney nahin dega)
Dev Anand
Dharmendra

aur..... Pran (Interesting, how every movie in his times had his name appear as 'aur... Pran' in the opening titles. His autobiography has also been named as the same.

Yeah, those were the golden days, innit?
To me, he's the ultimate villian.
Without even opening his mouth for a dialogue, he could appear slimy and dangeous.
Just the upward flick of his left eyebrow was enough.
One of his best roles was in Adalat (1960s, one of Nargis' last major movies and Pradeep Kumar).
His dialoge delivery, the smooth silky voice and the lusty looks on his face is unforgetable.

The villians of later years were too crude and predictable for my liking.
I feel sorry for Prem Chopra who was always compelled to play the rapacious, lusty villian, without any scope for improvisation, variation or versatality.

Pran was also a great actor in other roles.
Prior to being a full-fledged villian, he played hero's best friend roles next to Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, etc.
And of course in his later years, he played very impressive side roles.

On a side note, one offbeat villainous role that I liked was played by Ashish Vidyarthi in "Drohkaal". Sadly, he too joined the bandwagon of Bollywood villains, and now hardly noticeable

Reading the threads above, it seems no one likes the voices of female actors!

My vote would go to Rekha and Dimple in that category.
