I eagerly await for people like Mark Knoffler, Peter Frampton and many of others of the Classic Rock of 70's.

Eventhough the cost of the tickets are $70+, the recent performance of G3 was out of this world.

Wow, our musical tastes are in sync! I would have never guessed it if it were not for a post like this. Just goes to show how limited and 2 dimensional this forum(with all its +ves) is. Probably all of us often make the mistake of categorising(+vely or -vely) people only by the posts they make.
A lesson worth relearning for me...until the next slip-up ;)

Jake,

its amazing that u brought the 2 dimensional thing up......
i haven't been too long on this forum, but ever since i have been actively following it, i always seem to wonder about the people posting over here....
coz most of the posts seem to be "unidirectional", and few touch upon the broader issues....
the thread about the books is interesting, just as the one about indian tv shows form the past...
i would say, they kinda give u an idea about the people who post here....

there have been numerous instances when i have had the urge to respond to some posts, but have just restrained myself, coz i was dead sure that my comments would be misinterpreted.....(and would be seen in a totally different perspective)....

As far as the "for/against Canada" issue is concerned, i personally feel that there should be an exclusive thread for it, for "canada bashing" or "india bashing", and it should be a sticky, where people can feel free to vent out as much as they want....(and restrict it to that particular thread)

Nevertheless, the forum is an amazing place to be......(i know i have been off course on this thread, all apologies !!!)

its good to see people with similar interests though, and i m sure there actually must be more on the forum with similar "hammers and anvils"..........

But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.
