DS 157 form is now required for all between 16 and 45 irrespective of male or female. Earlier it was applicable for Males only

Passport with Visa will be returned by Mail only. So be sure to carry, an express post envelope with you or US Embassy will give you Fedex envelope that will cost around $17.50

earlier there used to be no Visa to go US for Canadian PR's.

Earlier Visa given the same day , Then changed to 2 business and now only by Mail

There was no 157 form requirement, then for Males, now for everybody .

Earlier there were no fingerprints and photographs, now they are must.


In future there might be bio metric identification to track movements


The bottom line is rules are being tightened by the day.
