Dear Mr. Rabanni,
I am exactly in the same situation as you were a year back, except I did not have any issues with Fedex (I did not use any courrier to get passport to Kuwait). I would like to know how did you get the passport back to your son. In case you carried it with you, did you face any problems in the process? How did your son complete his 'landing'. The instructions I received with the letter from the Canadian HC says that all the accompanying family members have to 'land' together. I hope you will help me by sharing your experience. I have enquired from local Fedex and they are ready to convey my sons passport to Canada. But your posts have put me in a dilema.
Thanks and regards.

. It was CIC who asked for passport for visa stamping, they did not ask to come personally to London for visa stamping, and it is my son's passport, his name is included in my application for PR, CIC knows about that, then where is the illegality?
Appreciate your help and waiting to hear from you.

Thank you Puttoo for your response.
Yes, it is in my application details. Also I wrote a letter about this fact when they asked for medical. In fact my sons medical was done in Canada and the reports sent directly (by the medic) to London.
Q: I would like to know how did you get the passport back to your son.
I took it with my when I landed there.

No problems faced, but I was ready if they ask, I would clarify.

We took him to Niagra, he had to take a U turn from US border. But expect some un-friendly and harsh faces at the other side of the border.

No need to land together, primary applicant should land first.

Better to carry the passport with you. Avoid couriers. Fedex said, getting it out of Canada would be OK, but sometime getting into Canada might be a problem, sometime it is held back in US, for check. You call Fedex in Kuwait, they would say the same thing, easy to take out, difficult to get into Canada.
Hope this clarifies.
