Filing current years income tax

hi friends...
I am planning to move back to India by August this year. I need to file this years income tax returns before I move back. I was wondering about the procedure regarding the same. Do i call my ex-employer and will he give me my T4 now? Or can i file returns based on salary slips for this year. I am going to call up my income tax consultant (H&R block) but want to be sure regarding the advice they wiill give. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

You cannot get the T-4 before the end of the year. Yuu will have to wait till the year end to file it as no institution will can give you year end summary right now
