I observed while in desh that Horlicks is available in different forms including one for diabetics. The population of diabetics is growing in India. Sedentary life style, no walking, late dinners (in south india), lots of white rice, less protein in the diet, etc have contributed to the growth.
Have you noted the list of ingredients in Horlicks?
How is the one for diabetics different?
The regular one is terrible...

Well whoever wrote about Horlicks and diabetics doesn't know what he is saying. One of the main ingredients of Horlicks is sugar, the arch enemy of every diabetic.
I have never heard of a "sugar free" horlicks. Have you?
Let me know if you come across one!
It's called Horlicks Light. Very bland in taste (not sweet at all). That's recommended by the docs for diabetics, I am told.
Horlicks light may have sweetner in stead of sugar. Over here I have seen light drink with aspertame.
