I have applied for immigration on 27th Dec 2001 under skilled category but on e-client status its showing “we have received u r application on 3rd Jan 2002 and start processing on 8th Jan 2002”.I have the receipt for application submission. I did fax and courier to CIC regarding that, but no change in the status. If they will consider me my application on 3rd Jan 2003 then they will put me under new rules for which I am not completing my points. Suggest me what to do.
What kind of receipt do you have? Note: it's not the date you mail the application, it's the date the chc receives it that matters.
If this date is going to be the main issue in your case, you should seek legal advice from a Canadian Immigration lawyer.
Finally, don't rely too much on e-client status. It's not very reliable. Wait for a response from the CHC.
Good luck!
