Best city in Canada for retirement?

I have heard many opinions that Vancouver is the best city for retirement based on the amiable weather. What do people on this board feel about this?

If no need to work then Victoria BC is better than Vancouver. Victoria is warmer and cheaper than Vancouver.

If you have money and want warmer climate and small town feeling, then Okanagan valley in BC is best place. Not as costly as Vancouver, it doesn’t rain much, it doesn’t snow much. No worries of hurricanes etc.

Okanagan valley one of the best option.

West Vancouver to whistler is option if you are super rich.

Victoria is option when you want to live in warmest weather in Canada and quiet.

Southern Alberta near rockies is option which is like quiet cheaper than BC and no PST

PEI, NS is option for who love sea and nature but can take cold.

Yukon,NWT is the option who love to say away from MEN.

My personal choice - Okanagan valley, PEI or NS
