We are due to land this year. Wondering if we could get honest opinions about the most recommended city to live in Canada talking into account all factors like weather, job opportunities, existance of Indian community etc.

Everybody, instead of browsing the forum properly, please don't post any question like this which are very common.

Sorry to do this on your first post - but answeing same question again and again is boring and people will avoid that. If this happens with you, you might think that there is no anybody interested answering you on this board and you will not use this board again. Whereas we have many hot discussion on almost everytopic.

Sorry to be a pain if I was! but I'm very new to this site and have browsed a no. of times and did not find exactly what I was looking for (best place taking into account all factors) in the relevant forum i.e. Charcha - (Moving to Canada soon) topic.

only you can answer it after checking out info about differnet cities on the net.

Toronto has massive indian community, vancouver has great views and weather, montral also has french as the official language.

please tell us about your priorties and then someone might come out with some answer.

PS: GG regulates the board and goes through most of the mails, your question is very open and thats why GC said no one might answer it.

Have you checked the link I gave? You should make your own judgement based on what values you most.

It is difficult to manage this board with all kind of questions and often repeating.

As you said you surfed for this info than why you missed this post? You should than have replied on that thread with your question, which gives everybody continuity.

We also have polls and one is where people live - it will give you indication what city/area desis prefer.

For some persons, Canadian desi is a website where people can post their questions without any homework on their part. Rather they think that Canadian desi has people just sitting idle and waiting to answer all the questions immaterial how stupid and repetitive question they may post.
