im writing this on behalf of my brother in canda, since he doesn’t have much access to net. Well I’ll be highly obliged if you could assist us in applying for his workpermit.

Here is his case:

My brother is an MSc (IT)(regular)+MBA (correspondence) from India with a work experience in India of 1 - 1/2 yrs( Convergys- microsoft call centre) and went to do an IT related diploma, in Canada (student visa) for 1 yr course.

He has completed 11 months in Canada and has just about 2 more months of student visa.

PLEASE LET US KNOW :

My brother wants to get a work permit. Since is college is a private one , he's not able to get any points for "PG work permit " for that.

----How to get a job offer letter (from IT co) and then get it approved by HRDC, so that he can apply a work permit.

Any idea how to go about it. He's applying to many co's through job sites but with no success so far.

Your help will be highly appreciated

I am no expert but i guess there are also some points (maybe 5) for having stayed in canada for a certain while. I would suggest, let him complete the course, apply for a 1 yr post grad work permit, which he will be granted (usually, no questions asked).. and then, in the meantime, he can apply for immigration.

---I understand its very difficult to get a job offer because first of all your brother got an private college diploma.so he has to go by HRSDC approval and for HRSDC company has to show many documents and in which most of the companys dont want to go by this.

Its really difficult to get it but he can try to get offer from agents or immigration consultant.
