This may sound like a personal question. Answer if you wish.
Just like to know the economic status of Indians in Canada, in general.
How many of you belong to 2 income family(husband & wife working) and how many of you are in Single income family?
In case of 2 income family,
a)Both in professional fields (or)
b)1 in prof.job, other person in odd job (or)
c)Both in odd jobs.
My family: Single income.
1 member (hubby) - professional job, Wife-Home maker.

Your question is highly general. In this forum you may find a lot of sampling errors.
From my information, I can generalise as follows
1. 95% of Desi's in Canada hold 2 jobs ( Both people in the family work)
2. In this 95 % of people holding 2 jobs :
a. 25 % hold both professional jobs
b. 45 % hold one professional job and 1 labour job
c. 30% hold both labour job (majority punjabi's)
3. In the 5% that hold just one job
a. 70 % hold professional job
b. 30 % hold labour job
Please note that this is just a general assessment and is only my view.
