Im sorry to hijack this thread but Im really worried now.
Im heading to India at the end of October, just before Diwali. We are going to spend most of the time in Delhi and surrounding areas. Is it safe?

My hubby who grew up there isnt worried because it seems this stuff is 'normal' (really sad ). Whereas having grown up here, I am a bit worried. More than a bit actually. Dont want to leave the house till Diwali is over..kind of worried.

Any thoughts/reassurances etc?

THANKS.

Keep Hubby dear away from a certain Sandwitch shop behind AIIMS and all shall be fine :D

Jokes apart, I would avoid any crowded places in Delhi around this time. Better safe than sorry as the saying goes :)
